How do I know if I have bad breath?

Stop offending and start mingling.

When you are close, it is not the time to be wondering, "Do I have bad breath?" Here is a simple test to see if you have bad breath, lick the back of your hand and let it dry, if it smells funny, you may have halitosis and should see your dentist. Halitosis is a fancy medical term for bad breath. This can result from poor dental care and also can be a sign of other health problems. Did you know that what you eat and certain lifestyle habits may worsen your bad breath.

Daily flossing and brushing your teeth for 2 minutes/2x every day will keep food particles from remaining in your mouth, promoting bacterial growth between teeth, around gums and on the tongue. This causes bad breath. Antibacterial mouth rinse can help reduce the growth of bacteria.
